Mass JCL Community Service Day

Monday, February 24th, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. MassJCL will partner with Massachusetts Audubon’s Climate and Nature Champions Program for a virtual advocacy event. The Climate and Nature Champions Program is a volunteer-based initiative that organizes people to advocate for environmental policies. A member of their policy staff will run a virtual teach-in exclusively for MassJCL members on a legislative issue pending in Massachusetts during the current legislative cycle. We will also teach participants how to effectively support this advocacy work, if they choose to do so, by participating in a write-in to support legislation that could make a real impact in our state. We welcome sponsors to attend if they would like, but Mass Audubon staff will run the event and MassJCL officers will also attend, and members are welcome to attend regardless of whether their sponsors are available to attend.
